Abstract:
An electro-optic polymer device (2), an optical device, and a photonic integrated circuit. The electro-optic polymer device (2) comprises: a substrate layer (3); waveguides (21), which are positioned on the substrate layer (3); electro-optic polymers (22), each of which covers the waveguide (21) and is arranged at least partially around the waveguide (21); polarization electrodes (23), which are distributed on two sides of each of the electro-optic polymers (22); and at least one heating electrode (24), which is positioned above the polarization electrode (23) and is configured to heat, to a predetermined polarization temperature, the region of a predetermined electro-optic polymer (22) that is next to the waveguide (21), wherein the polarization electrodes (23) are configured to apply a polarization electric field to each electro-optic polymer (22) at the predetermined polarization temperature, so as to implement a polarization process of the electro-optic polymer (22).
