Abstract:
An electro-optical dual-modulated three-dimensional display method, which is used for three-dimensional display of a display element (50). The display element (50) has a plurality of display layers (51). The three-dimensional display method comprises: at least extracting shape information of a three-dimensional image that needs to be displayed; generating a scanning scheme for each display layer (51) of a display element (50) according to the shape information; and extracting color information of said three-dimensional image. Therefore, the method is conducive to generating a target pattern by performing scanning on the display element (50); and by means of independently applying an inverse voltage to each display layer (51) and not applying a voltage to the display layer, whether each display layer (51) performs displaying is independently controlled, so as to achieve layer-by-layer addressing scanning. In addition, the speed of electric field modulation is fast, and the display element (50) has the characteristics of being easy to produce to have a large volume and a high resolution and depth, thereby solving the problems of small displayed pictures, slow refresh rates, low brightness, small ranges of viewing angles, etc. of other displays. Further disclosed are a display element (50) and a three-dimensional display apparatus (100).
