Title:
ELECTROACOUSTIC CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/063628
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electroacoustic conversion device capable of producing sound pressure equal to that of a circular laminated piezoelectric element even when a polygonal laminated piezoelectric element is used. [Solution] An electroacoustic conversion device is provided with: a laminated piezoelectric element in which piezoelectric layers and electrode layers are alternately laminated, the piezoelectric layers being disposed between at least a pair of electrode layers having different polarities; and a diaphragm on which the laminated piezoelectric element is disposed. The laminated piezoelectric element is polygonal when viewed from a lamination direction, and a surface of the diaphragm on which the laminated piezoelectric element is disposed is circular. The total volume (V) of effective layers which are those of the piezoelectric layers sandwiched between at least a pair of electrode layers in which at least the pair of electrode layers are overlapped when projected from the lamination direction satisfies the following condition: 0.2πR2 × ts ≤ V ≤ 2.0πR2 × ts where π is the circlular constant, R is the radius of the diaphragm, and ts is the thickness of the diaphragm.
