Abstract:
An electroacoustic transducer comprises: a piezoelectric film the principal surface of which expands and contracts according to an electric field; a viscoelastic support which is closely attached to the principal surface of the piezoelectric film; a pressing member which presses the piezoelectric film against the viscoelastic support; and an elasticized pressing sheet which is closely attached to a surface reverse to the viscoelastic support of the piezoelectric film while being placed under tension, and presses the piezoelectric film and the viscoelastic support. In a section in one predetermined direction perpendicular to the principal surface of the piezoelectric film, the piezoelectric film has a flat portion which is held by the pressing sheet and the viscoelastic support in a portion thereof other than a pressed portion formed by the pressing member, and an inclined portion which is connected to the pressed portion and the flat portion and extends in a direction crossing the pressed portion. Consequently, the electroacoustic transducer having excellent acoustic characteristic and stab resistance is provided.
