Abstract:
The present invention provides an electrocaloric effect element comprising a laminate composed of an electrode layer containing Pt as a main component and a ceramic layer laminated on each other, wherein the ceramics layer has a perovskite structure and contains, as a main component, a ceramic material containing Pb, Sc and Ta, and the content ratio of Ta is "1—y" and the range of y is 0.450≤y≤0.495 wherein "y" represents the content ratio of Sc.
