Abstract:
An electrochemical cell (1) is provided with: a metal support (2) having a plurality of through-holes (21) penetrating between one surface and the other surface; and a cell part (3) bonded to the one surface of the metal support (2). The cell part (3) is provided with: a first electrode layer (31) formed on the one surface of the metal support (2); a solid-state electrolyte layer (30) formed on the first electrode layer (31); and a second electrode layer (32) formed on the solid-state electrolyte layer (30). The first electrode layer (31) is provided with: through-hole regions (311) that respectively correspond to the positions in which openings (210) of the through-holes (21) are provided on the one surface; and non-through-hole regions (312) that respectively correspond to the positions in which the openings (210) of the through-holes (21) are not provided on the one surface. The gas diffusion resistance in the through-hole regions (311) is greater than that in the non-through-hole regions (312).
