Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrochemical device, and more particularly, to an electrochemical device for recovering uranium from spent nuclear fuel, including: an electrolytic bath containing a molten salt electrolyte solution; a flow barrier which divides the electrolytic bath into two chambers and limits a flow of the electrolyte solution; a filter which filters particulates from the flow of the electrolyte solution; an anode which is inserted into the molten salt from one side of the electrolytic bath; and a cathode which is inserted into the molten salt from the other side of the electrolytic bath.
