Abstract:
The present invention provides an electrochemical element which is capable of maintaining favorable electrical connection, while having excellent sealing properties. An electrochemical element 1 according to the present invention is provided with: a case 10 which comprises a recessed container 11 that has a bottom part 111 and a lateral wall part 112, and a cover member 12 that covers the opening of the recessed container 11; a power generation element 20 which comprises a multilayer body that is obtained by stacking an electrode layer 21, an electrode layer 22 and a solid electrolyte layer 23, and which is contained in the internal space of the case 11 in such a manner that the bottom part 111 and the electrode layer 21 face each other; and a conduction plate 30 which is arranged between the electrode layer 22 and the cover member 12 at the opening side of the recessed container 11. The recessed container 11 has a plurality of support parts 115 on the lateral wall part 112. The conduction plate 30 has, on the edge thereof, a plurality of parts 31 to be supported at positions corresponding to the support parts 115. In a state where the parts 31 to be supported are respectively supported by the support parts 115, the power generation element 20 is pressed toward the bottom part 111 of the recessed container 11 by means of a spring piece 33 that extends upwardly from a flat surface part of the conduction plate 30; and a gap is formed between the conduction plate 30 and the cover member 12.
