Abstract:
Provided is an electrochemical energy storage device (100), including a housing (1), the housing (1) includes a first side wall (11) and a second side wall (12) which are disposed opposing to each other, and an inner cavity (14) for accommodating an electric core (3) is provided, the inner cavity (3) is located between the first side wall (11) and the second side wall (12), and at least one of the first side wall (11) and the second side wall (12) is provided with a reinforcement layer (2). In the electrochemical energy storage device (100), the reinforcement layer (2) is provided on at least one of the first side wall (11) and the second side wall (12), the reinforcement layer (2) can improve the structural strength of the housing (1), and when the electrochemical energy storage device (100) falls or collides, the reinforcement layer (2) has a protective effect on the housing (1). In this way, short circuit or electrolyte leakage of the electrochemical energy storage device (100) can be avoided, and the safety and reliability of the electrochemical energy storage device (100) can be improved.
