Abstract:
An electrochemical gas sensor according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an electrolyte film, a working electrode disposed so as to touch the electrolyte film, a counter electrode disposed so as to touch the electrolyte film and not touch the working electrode, and an insulating substrate that is disposed so as to face the electrolyte film and has a through hole formed therein. A metal layer is formed on the surface of the insulating substrate facing the electrolyte film. The working electrode comprises a first layer that touches the electrolyte film and a second layer that is formed over at least a portion of the metal layer and touches the first layer.
