Abstract:
In order to increase the current-carrying area, suppress the frequency of short circuits, and make possible electrochemical machining, this electrochemical machining tool (3) has a tool main body (10) provided with an electrode (11) which is formed from a flexible conductive material having a cylindrical shape extending along the axis (O) and on the inside of which an electrolyte (W) flows towards the leading end (10a), and with an insulation layer (12) which covers the outer peripheral surface of the electrode (11) so as to expose the leading end surface of the electrode (11). A non-insulated part (15) which exposes the outer peripheral surface of the electrode (11) is formed on the tool main body (10), and this non-insulated part (15) is sandwiched on both sides in the direction of the axis (O) by the insulation layer (12).
