Abstract:
The condition of a biological sample is measured electrochemically by means of the following electrochemical measuring method. Prepare an electrochemical measuring device which is provided with a working electrode and which is filled with a measuring liquid in such a way that the measuring liquid is in contact with the working electrode. Introduce the biological sample into the measuring liquid. Apply a measuring potential to the working electrode and measure the current value flowing through the working electrode. Apply an oxidizing potential to the working electrode to oxidize the surface of the working electrode. Adopting this electrochemical measuring method makes it possible for the environment around a biological sample to be measured in a stable manner.
