Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: an electrode having an active material layer that is not easily delaminated and having a structure in which the active material layer covers the edge of an intermediate layer; and a capacitor having such an electrode. [Solution] An embodiment of the present invention provides an electrode for a capacitor, the electrode comprising: a conductive electrode substrate; an intermediate layer laminated on a portion of the surface of the electrode substrate; and an active material layer laminated on the surface of the intermediate layer, wherein the active material layer has an edge portion which contacts the surface of the electrode substrate and covers the edge of the intermediate layer. The electrode further comprises a coating layer which is laminated on the surface of the electrode substrate and contacts the edge portion.
