Abstract:
An electrode catheter comprises: a shaft (10) in which a plurality of lumens is positioned along the circumference direction, and with which it is possible to bend the leading end part (10A); operating wires (61, 62) for bending the leading end part (10A) of the shaft (10); a plurality of ring-shaped electrodes (302-320) which are bonded in place separately from one another along the outer circumference face of the leading end part (10A) of the shaft (10); and a plurality of lead lines (402-420) which are connected to each of the ring-shaped electrodes (302-320). The lead line which is connected to the nth ring-shaped electrode from the leading end, the lead line which is connected to the (n+1)th ring-shaped electrode from the leading end, and the lead line which is connected to the (n+2)th ring-shaped electrode from the leading end, respectively extend to different lumens. With this electrode catheter, it is possible, even if the distance between the ring-shaped electrodes is short, to bend the leading end part within a given plane without causing breakage in the bonding part between the ring-shaped electrodes and the lead lines.
