Abstract:
This electrode chip (10A) for resistance welding is provided with: an inner cylinder part (46) in which a first flow channel (44) is formed; an outer cylinder part (50) which forms a second flow channel (48) between itself and the inner cylinder part (46); a front end plate part (52) which is provided so as to close the front end-side opening of the outer cylinder part (50); and a support part (54) which connects the inner cylinder part (46) and the outer cylinder part (50) to each other. The inner cylinder part (46) supports the inner surface (53) of the front end plate part (52) during the welding of a work (W); and the front end part of the inner cylinder part (46) is provided with a communicating pore (58) by which the first flow channel (44) and the second flow channel (48) are in communication with each other.
