Abstract:
Disclosed is an electrode for an electrochemical energy storage device. The electrode comprises a nano-structured hollow carbon material. Preferably, the nano-structured hollow carbon material meets the following requirement (A): (A) the nano-structured hollow carbon material has a carbon-based part and a hollow part, and has such a structure that the hollow part is surrounded by the carbon-based part in a bag-like shape, a part of the structure, or an aggregate of the structure.
