Abstract:
Provided is an electrode for electrolytic capacitors, which is capable of reducing leakage current. According to the present invention, an electrode 5 for an electrolytic capacitor 10 is provided with a metal foil 1 that has a valve action and a sintered layer 2 that is provided on one surface or both surfaces of the metal foil 1. The sintered layer 2 contains a sintered metal powder 3; the metal powder 3 has a valve action; and the amount of carbon contained in the electrode 5 is from 0.01% by mass to 0.2% by mass (inclusive).
