Abstract:
This electrode is configured from a sheet-like porous body, and is used in an electrolytic solution circulation type battery wherein charging and discharging are carried out through circulation of an electrolytic solution. Among the side surfaces of this electrode, the portion disposed on the electrolytic solution entry side after the electrode is fitted in the electrolytic solution circulation type battery is the entry-side edge surface, and the portion disposed on the electrolytic solution exit side is the exit-side edge surface. This electrode comprises first flow passage grooves connected at the entry-side edge surface and extending toward the exit-side edge surface, and second flow passage grooves connected at the exit-side edge surface and extending toward the entry-side edge surface, the first flow passage groove and the second flow passage groove not being in direct communication with each other.
