Abstract:
This electrode foil production method is a method for producing a partially etched electrode foil. The electrode foil production method is characterized by comprising: a first step wherein a strip of metal foil is prepared; a second step wherein a masking member is arranged to cover one portion of at least one main surface of the metal foil; and a third step wherein, after the second step, an electrode is made to face the metal foil across the masking member in an etching liquid, a current is passed between the metal foil and the electrode, and the main surface of the metal foil is partially etched. The electrode foil production method is also characterized in that the masking member is a strip and in that, during the second step, the masking member is arranged along the long direction of the metal foil away from both edges of the metal foil.
