Abstract:
This electrode is provided with: a first diffusion layer (11) which has water repellency and in which oxygen is diffused; and a second diffusion layer (13) which supports a catalyst layer (30) and in which oxygen is diffused. This electrode is also provided with a conductive layer (12, 15) which is arranged between the first diffusion layer and the second diffusion layer and contains a metal material (20, 21) and an oxygen permeable material. Each of this fuel cell (100) and this water processing apparatus is provided with: a negative electrode (3); an ion transfer layer (4) which has proton permeability; and a positive electrode (1, 2) which is composed of the above-described electrode and is separated from the negative electrode with the ion transfer layer being interposed therebetween.
