Abstract:
This electrode for fuel cells is provided with: an intra-electrode proton conductor (201) which contains metal ions, oxoanions and proton coordinating molecules, and wherein the oxoanions and/or the proton coordinating molecules are coordinated to the metal ions, thereby forming a coordination polymer; and a catalyst (200). In addition, this electrode for fuel cells is configured such that the intra-electrode proton conductor (201) is in contact with the catalyst (200). For example, the catalyst (200) is covered by the intra-electrode proton conductor (201).
