Abstract:
One embodiment according to the present invention provides an electrode group. This electrode group is provided with: a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material-containing layer; and a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material-containing layer. The negative electrode active material-containing layer comprises at least one type of titanium-containing complex oxide selected from the group consisting of monoclinic crystal-type niobium-titanium complex oxides and orthorhombic crystal-type titanium-containing complex oxides. At least a portion of the negative electrode active material-containing layer is disposed so as to face a portion of the positive electrode active material-containing layer. This electrode group satisfies the formula: 6500 ≤ A/B ≤ 18500, wherein A represents the area [cm2] of the portion of the negative electrode active material-containing layer that faces the positive electrode active material-containing layer, and B represents the thickness [cm] of the electrode group.
