Title:
ELECTRODE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/026509
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is an electrode material used as an electrode contact for a vacuum interrupter, the electrode material containing heat-resistant elements at a weight ratio of 1 or more with respect to Cr 1, the remainder being Cu and unavoidable impurities. In the present invention, a portion of a Cr powder and a heat-resistant element powder are mixed, and the mixed powder is sintered so that a peak corresponding to elemental Cr disappears in X-ray diffraction measurement. The remaining Cr powder and a solid solution powder obtained by pulverizing the sintered compact of the heat-resistant element and Cr obtained by sintering are mixed, and the mixed powder is molded and then sintered. The sintered compact obtained by sintering is infiltrated with Cu.
