Abstract:
In order to solve the above-described technical problem, an electrode manufacturing method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: applying an electrode active material to a portion of an electrode collector to manufacture an electrode sheet having an uncoated portion formed longitudinally at at least one end thereof and not coated with the electrode active material; setting an ablation line in an active material-coated portion coated with the electrode active material, wherein the ablation line is set at at least one end adjoining the uncoated portion; performing ablation in the area surrounded by the ablation line and the boundary line between the uncoated portion and the active material-coated portion while keeping the active material-coated portion coated with the electrode active material; setting a notching line in an ablation area where the ablation has been performed; and performing notching by using the notching line as the boundary of the notching.
