Abstract:
Provided are an electrode part structure and a resistance welder using the same, which are capable of suppressing welding position misalignment and the scattering of spatter. This electrode part structure (50) has a piston-type cylinder structure which has: a piston rod part (60) which forms an electrode; and a cylinder tube part (80) which can reciprocate relative to the piston rod part (60) in the moving direction of the piston rod part (60). The piston rod part (60) has, on a tip portion thereof, a component holding part (73) which communicates with a negative pressure passage (52), and which allows a T-type button T to be held by the negative pressure; and the cylinder tube part (80) has a tubular guide part (90) which contacts a workpiece (W) and guides the movement of the piston rod part (60). The guide part (90) is allowed to reciprocate between a first position in which the component holding part (73) is covered, and a second position in which the piston rod part (60) can apply electric current to the workpiece (W).
