Abstract:
The disclosed electrode plate has a substrate, is arranged so as to face a discharge electrode, and constitutes a corona-discharge generating section which causes corona discharge between the discharge electrode and said electrode. The substrate is made of ceramic fibers. Thus, the electrode plate is extremely lightweight. Therefore, even when a plurality of electrode plates are arranged parallel to one another as in the electrifying section or the collecting section of an electric dust collector, the overall weight of the electric dust collector can be reduced.
