Abstract:
The present invention provides an electrode potential measuring device for a three-electrode system, the electrode potential measuring device being used to measure the electrode potential of a cylindrical battery cell while a beading portion between a top cap assembly, on which a first electrode terminal of the cylindrical battery cell is positioned, and a battery case, on which a second electrode terminal thereof is positioned, remains separated. The electrode potential measuring device is characterized by comprising: a working electrode connecting portion connected to the first electrode terminal or to the second electrode terminal so as to measure the electrode potential regarding the first electrode terminal or the second electrode terminal; a counter electrode connecting portion connected to the other electrode terminal of the cylindrical battery cell than the electrode terminal connected to the working electrode connecting portion; a reference electrode connecting portion connected to a reference electrode that forms a battery circuit for electrode potential measurement so as to measure the relative value of potential of the electrode connected to the working electrode connecting portion; a measuring portion connected to the working electrode connecting portion, to the counter electrode connecting portion, and to the reference electrode connecting portion so as to measure the potential of the electrode connected to the working electrode connecting portion; and a short-circuit preventing member positioned between the top cap assembly of the cylindrical battery cell and the battery case thereof, from which the beading portion is separated, so as to keep contacting each of the top cap assembly and the battery case, in order to prevent a short circuit caused by a contact between the top cap assembly and the battery case.
