Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electrode slurry coating device and method and comprises: a coater that coats a metal foil with an electrode slurry; a residual oil level measuring unit that measures a residual oil level on the surface of the metal foil before electrode slurry coating; and a control unit that determines, from a residual oil level measurement value, whether the residual oil level is excessive, and determines therefrom whether to perform coating with the electrode slurry.
