Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an electrode substrate with which it is possible to inexpensively obtain a lightweight, flexible CIGS solar battery. [Solution] Provided is an electrode substrate (30) for a CIGS solar battery, in which an Mo film (bottom electrode layer (2)) is formed on a Cu coating layer (12) of a Cu-coated steel sheet (20), the Cu coating layer (12) having an average thickness of 0.1 µm or greater. The Cu-coated steel sheet (20) is, for instance, a Cu-plated steel sheet or a Cu-clad steel sheet. The sheet thickness of the Cu-coated steel sheet (20), including the Cu coating layer (12), is 0.02 to 2.00 mm, for instance. A variety of types of steel are appropriate as the steel that is a base material (11) of the Cu-coated steel sheet (20), and examples are ordinary steel and ferrite stainless steel.
