Abstract:
A method for cutting an electrode tab protruding from an electrode according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a pressing step in which the electrode tab is pressed against a support so that the support supports one side of the electrode tab; and a cutting step in which a cutting knife presses the electrode tab so that pressure is applied to the other side of the electrode tab, thereby cutting the electrode tab, wherein the cutting knife enters such that the angle formed between the cutting knife and the electrode tab is an acute angle. An electrode tab cut by the cutting method according to the present invention protrudes from an electrode and has one side that is flat and the other side that is parallel to the one side, and the electrode tab has a cut surface of which one end is connected to the one side and the other end is connected to the other side, wherein the cut surface is formed as an inclined surface such that the included angle between the cut surface and either the one side or the other side is an acute angle.
