Abstract:
With respect to respective desalination chambers 5 of this electrodeionization device 1, to-be-treated water inflow branch pipes 21A, 21B, 21C … that branch out from an inflow line 21 that is provided above the desalination chambers 5 and that is for water W to be treated, are connected. Both ends of the inflow line 21 for the water W to be treated are open, a to-be-treated water supply pipe (not shown) is connected to each end portion of the inflow line 21, and therefore, the water W to be treated can be supplied from both sides thereof. In addition, outflow pipes 22A, 22B, 22C … for treated water W1 are connected to respective lower portions as shown in the drawing of the desalination chambers 5, and merges with an outflow line 22 for the treated water W1. In addition, both ends of the outflow line 22 for the water W to be treated are open, and therefore, the treated water W1 can be discharged from both sides thereof. The electrodeionization device can inhibit an increase in differential pressure during passage of water.
