Abstract:
An electrolyser for cleaning the waste water comprises a cylindrical casing (1) connected to the negative pole of a power source, a cylindrical cassette (5) which is located in the casing (1), is filled with a charge (6) of a conductive material and is connected to the positive pole of the power source, a means for rotating the cassette (5) about its axis of symmetry, a diaphragm (10) of a dielectric material mounted on the surface of the cassette (5) and sleeves (3, 4) for inletting and outletting the waste water. The cassette (5) is loosely placed in the casing (1) so that its longitudinal axis of symmetry is parallel to the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the casing (1), said axis being oriented in relation to the horizontal at an angle smaller than 90°.
