Abstract:
An electrolysis device (1) according to an embodiment is provided with: an electrolysis tank (10) provided with a first barrier membrane for dividing the tank into an intermediate chamber (18a) wherein an electrolytic fluid flows and a positive electrode chamber (18b), a second barrier membrane for dividing the tank into the intermediate chamber (18a) and a negative electrode chamber (18c), a positive electrode (15a) provided in the positive electrode chamber (18a) and facing the first barrier membrane, and a negative electrode (15b) provided in the negative electrode chamber (18c) and facing the second barrier membrane; an electrolytic fluid supply unit (20) for supplying the electrolytic fluid to the intermediate chamber (18a); a discharge pipe (20b) for discharging the electrolytic fluid flowing in the intermediate chamber (18a); and a valve provided in the discharge pipe (20b) for forming a hydrostatic state in the electrolytic fluid within the intermediate chamber (18a). The electrolytic fluid supply unit (20) is provided with a water pressure application unit (30) for applying hydrostatic pressure to the electrolytic fluid in the intermediate chamber (18a) in the hydrostatic state.
