Abstract:
Disclosed are a lithium-ion cell and an electrolyte for a lithium-ion cell, said electrolyte having a wide potential window and moreover having a low decrease in charge/discharge capacity even when due to repeated charging/discharging. The electrolyte for a lithium-ion cell is a lithium salt dissolved in an organic solvent, and is characterized by a dinitrile compound, wherein a nitrile group is bonded to each end, being contained in the aforementioned organic solvent, and by containing at least one of LiBF4, LiTFSI, LiBETI, LiPF6, and LiBOB as the aforementioned lithium salt.
