Abstract:
This electrolyte membrane comprises a phase A constituting a matrix phase, and a phase B. The phase B is continuously present from a first principal surface of the electrolyte membrane to a second principal surface on the opposite side from the first principal surface. The phase B includes a graft polymer including a main chain and a graft chain. The graft chain has a functional group having anion exchangeability. Preferably, the main chain does not have a functional group having anion exchangeability. This electrolyte membrane can maintain the function thereof as a diaphragm more reliably, even when a decomposition reaction by peroxide occurs.
