Abstract:
Disclosed are an electrolyte for a metal lithium secondary battery, which contains an additive having a sulfur-containing conjugated structure, and a metal lithium secondary battery using the electrolyte. The electrolyte for a metal lithium secondary battery is composed of a lithium salt, a non-aqueous solvent and an additive having a sulfur-containing conjugated structure, wherein the ratio of the mass of the additive having a sulfur-containing conjugated structure to the volume of the non-aqueous solvent is 0.01-100 mg/mL. In the present invention, by selecting an electrolyte containing a specific amount of a specific additive component, the growth of lithium dendrites in the metal lithium secondary battery can be effectively inhibited, thereby playing the role of improving the cycle performance and safety of the metal lithium secondary battery.
