Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a secondary battery and a secondary battery comprising the same, and more specifically, to an electrolyte for secondary battery which comprises electrolytic salts, organic solvents, and additives, wherein the additives comprise at least one kind of compound selected from a group consisting of compounds having an N-Si-based bond and compounds having an O-Si-based bond. Since the electrolyte for a secondary battery includes an additive comprising specific chemical bonds, it is possible to improve the efficiency and lifetime characteristics of the multivalent metal secondary battery by suppressing film formation on a surface of the multivalent metal.
