Abstract:
A method for manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor comprises a step of preparing an anode body having a dielectric layer, and a step of forming a solid electrolyte layer on the dielectric layer, wherein the step of forming the solid electrolyte layer includes a step of forming a first conductive polymer layer containing a first conductive polymer on the dielectric layer, a step of applying a first treatment liquid to the first conductive polymer layer, and a step of forming a second conductive polymer layer on the first conductive polymer layer to which the first treatment liquid has been applied; the first treatment liquid contains a first compound including a skeleton of naphthalene or anthraquinone and at least one SO3-containing group bonded to the skeleton, and a solvent; and the SO3-containing group is at least one selected from the group consisting of a sulfonic acid group and a sulfonic acid salt group.
