Abstract:
This electrolytic capacitor is provided with a positive electrode terminal, and with a capacitor element which comprises a sheet-form positive electrode body having a first edge and a second edge opposite of the first edge, a dielectric layer formed on the surface of the positive electrode body, a solid electrolyte layer formed on the surface of the dielectric layer, and a negative electrode extraction layer which is formed on a surface of the solid electrolyte layer. The positive electrode body has a first region which is disposed to the first edge and has an etched surface, a second region which is disposed to the second edge and has an etched surface, and an interface between the first region and the second region, and also has a narrowed portion which is shortened in the direction along the second edge. The dielectric layer is formed on the surface of the first region; a notched edge that forms the shortened portion is arranged in the second region; and the positive electrode terminal is connected to the second region.
