Disclosed is an electrolytic capacitor that is equipped with: a capacitor element that is provided with an anode section and a cathode section; an anode wire; and an anode lead terminal having a first main surface and a second main surface. The anode lead terminal is provided with an internal bending section inside of an outer package, and an external bending section outside of the outer package. The internal bending section is provided with: a first internal bending section, which bends, at a position where the anode lead terminal is not in contact with the anode wire, the anode lead terminal to the first main surface side, said anode lead terminal extending from a bonding section where the anode lead terminal and the anode wire are bonded to each other; and a second internal bending section, which bends the anode lead terminal in the direction along the anode wire, said anode lead terminal having been bent by the first internal bending section, and which leads out the anode lead terminal from the outer package. The external bending section is provided with: a first external bending section, which bends, to the first main surface side, the anode lead terminal led out from the outer package; and a second external bending section, which bends the anode lead terminal along the outer shape of the outer package, said anode lead terminal having been bent by the first external bending section, and which disposes the anode lead terminal on the mounting surface of the outer package.
