Abstract:
An electrolytic capacitor 20 comprises a capacitor element that includes: a porous positive-electrode body 1 including a positive-electrode substrate and a dielectric layer 3 formed on the surface of the positive-electrode substrate; and a solid electrolyte layer that covers at least a portion of the dielectric layer 3. The positive-electrode body 1 includes a plurality of main surfaces 101A-101C. The surface of the positive-electrode body 1 includes a first region 111 which does not include a corner portion where a plurality of main surfaces intersect, and a second region 112. A surface roughness Ra1 in the first region 111 is greater than a surface roughness Ra2 in the second region 112.
