Abstract:
Provided is an electrolytic copper foil which has a tensile strength at ordinary temperature of 650 MPa or higher, a tensile strength measured at ordinary temperature after a 1-hour heat treatment at 300ºC of 450 MPa or higher, and an electrical conductivity of 60% or higher. The electrolytic copper foil is characterized by containing a metal which, in an acidic solution having a pH of 4 or less, is present as an oxide, and by containing chlorine in an amount of 0.005-0.04 wt%. The electrolytic copper foil contains at least one of Ti, Mo, V, Bi, and Te which has been incorporated thereinto, and has a tensile strength at ordinary temperature of 650 MPa or higher, a tensile strength measured at ordinary temperature after a 1-hour heat treatment at 300ºC of 450 MPa or higher, and an electrical conductivity of 60% IACS or higher. This electrolytic copper foil is suitable for use as a current collector for batteries.
