Abstract:
Provided are: an electrolytic copper foil having higher electric conductivity; and a method for producing the electrolytic copper foil. The electrolytic copper foil according to the present invention has a carbon content of 5 ppm or less, a sulfur content of 3 ppm or less, an oxygen content of 5 ppm or less and a nitrogen content of 0.5 ppm or less, and also having a total content of carbon, sulfur, oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen of 15 ppm or less, wherein the number of crystal grains is 8.0 to 12.0 grains/μm2, and the number of crystal grains changes to 0.6 to 1.0 grain/μm2 after being heated at 150°C for 1 hour. The method for producing the electrolytic copper foil comprises: a washing step of washing a copper raw material; a melting step of melting the washed copper raw material to produce an electrolyte solution having a total organic carbon (TOC) amount of 10 ppm or less; and an electrolysis step of electrolyzing the electrolyte solution to produce the electrolytic copper foil.
