Abstract:
This electrolyzed water production device (100) comprises: a solution tank (110) which accommodates a solution containing at least an electrolyte; a first electrode (112) provided to the solution tank (110); a second electrode (113) provided to the solution tank (110) and which constitutes a pair with the first electrode (112); at least one positive and negative ion-permeable membrane (114) which is provided to the solution tank (110) and which is positioned between the first electrode (112) and the second electrode (113); and a control unit (140) which repeatedly switches the direction in which current is passed in such a manner that current is passed for a first current passing time in a first current passing direction which is the direction in which current passes in which a positive or negative voltage is applied to the first electrode (112) with the second electrode (113) serving as a reference, and a second current passing time which is different from the first time, and during which current is passed in a second current passing direction which is opposite to the first current passing direction.
