Abstract:

An electromachining apparatus comprises: a rotatable shaft (11), and an electrode (12) for electromachining. The electrode (12) is movably connected to the rotatable shaft (11). When the rotatable shaft (11) rotates, the electrode (12) rotates along with the rotatable shaft (11) and moves relative to the rotatable shaft (11) under the influence of a centrifugal force, wherein a travel distance of the electrode (12) is controlled by a rotating speed of the rotatable shaft (11). An electromachining method comprises: movably connecting an electrode (12) to a rotatable shaft (11); inserting the rotatable shaft (11) into a hole (201) of a workpiece (200), wherein the hole (201) has a first diameter enabling the electrode (12) to be spaced from the workpiece (200); energizing the electrode (12) and the workpiece (200); rotating the rotatable shaft (11) in the hole (201) to generate a centrifugal force; and driving, under the influence of the centrifugal force, the electrode (12) to move toward the workpiece (200) and relative to the rotatable shaft (11), to remove a part of material of the hole, so that the hole has, in an electromachining position, a second diameter greater than the first diameter. The electromachining apparatus and method have simple operation, easy implementation, and low costs.
