Abstract:
An electromagnet for magnetotherapeutic devices, which prevents the abrupt attenuation of magnetic flux densities even remote from the magnetic pole surface of the core and exhibits a sufficiently large pain-killing effect even in the human body. The electromagnet is constituted of a first cylindrical core (1) having a first hollow section, and a first coil (3) which is wound around the core (1) and generates a first magnetic field when an alternating current, a current obtained by rectifying the alternating current, or a pulsed current is made to flow therethrough.
