Abstract:
An electromagnetic actuator applied to a shutter device for camera, comprising a rotatable disk-shaped rotor (10) magnetized in polarities different from each other and having an output part (10b), a first yoke (40) having a first magnetic pole part (41) and a platy second yoke (50) having a second magnetic pole part (51) opposed to the outer peripheral surface of the rotor (10), and a first coil (20) and a second coil (30) wound in the connection area of the yokes so as to become flat in the same directions as those of the first yoke (40) and the second yoke (50), whereby the thickness of the actuator can be reduced, the shutter device for a camera using the electromagnetic actuator can be reduced in thickness and size, and the camera can be reduced in thickness and size.
