Abstract:

A weighing table (15) on which an object to be weighed is placed is provided with a rod displaceable in accordance with the weight of the object. A solenoid coil (9) is disposed in such a manner as to be capable of imparting an electromagnetic force, which offsets the displacement produced in the rod, to the weighing table (15). Displacement detecting units (3, 4, 5) are disposed in such a manner as to be capable of detecting the displacement for detecting the displacement produced in the rod for the weighing table (15). An operation unit (7) calculates a control voltage in accordance with the detection signal from the displacement detecting units (3, 4, 5). A current conversion circuit (20) converts the control voltage from the operation unit (7) into a current and outputs it to the solenoid coil (9). The scale includes a negative feedback loop which feeds back the output current of the current conversion circuit (20) to the input section thereof through the solenoid coil (9). A weight calculating unit (24) calculates the weight of the object in accordance with the output current of the current conversion circuit (20).
