Abstract:
An armature (11) is provided so that a magnetic attractive force can bring the armature into contact with a drive body (70). An outer plate (20) is fixed to the armature (11) on the side opposite to the driving body (70) and rotates together with the armature. An inner hub (30) is provided between the armature (11) and the outer plate (20) so as to be movable in the rotational axis direction, and is locked in the rotational direction with respect to the armature (11) or the outer plate (20) and fixed to a driven body (110). A rubber member (40) is provided between the inner hub (30) and the outer plate (20) and applies a biasing force in a direction away from the inner hub (30) and the outer plate (20). The electromagnetic clutch is configured such that the biasing force of the rubber member (40) increases nonlinearly as the drive body (70) and the armature (11) are brought closer to each other by the magnetic attractive force.
