Abstract:
Disclosed are an electromagnetic coil assembly for a control rod drive mechanism, and a fabrication method for the same. The assembly comprises a coil and a yoke for inserting the coil. The yoke is provided with an insertion gap, and the coil is installed at the insertion gap. The yoke comprises a first yoke and a second yoke. The insertion gap is provided on the first yoke. The first yoke is connected to the second yoke. The second yoke is further provided with a through-hole to establish a connection with a sealing housing. A projection of the coil onto an end surface of the second yoke falls outside of the through-hole. Among the first yoke and the second yoke, the first yoke has a higher thermal conductivity than the second yoke. The method is a method for manufacturing the assembly. The coil assembly or a coil assembly obtained by using the method provided by the present solution significantly lowers the temperature within the coil, thereby improving the reliability of CRDM electromagnetic coil assemblies and increasing the service life of CRDM electromagnetic coil assemblies.
